The finish on 6061 Aluminum Alloy is a much duller brushed surface appearance than the 3003 bright shine and offers substantially more strength. 6061 aluminum metal is generally employed in higher traffic areas and warrants a more highly corrosive material to withstand the test of time weathering the atmospheric environment.
