Aluminum Products – Sheet Metal, Flat Plates, Aluminum Diamond Plates, Structural and Architectural shapes

Aluminum products are available in sheet, flat plate, diamond plate, angle, channel, I beam, pipe and tubing and come in multiple grades, including 3003, 5052, and 6061 that are available with various finishes and are used in a variety of applications. Aluminum grade 3003 is a general-purpose soft metal material produced with Manganese. It has excellent fabrication properties that consist of superior formability, allowing it to be drilled, cut, and welded easily. The material strength is also suitable for transportation trucking, maintenance repair, and residential and commercial construction. However, this 3003 grade is of the weaker grades of Aluminum offered. Grade 3003 Aluminum is primarily used in products such as food-grade cooking molds, small fuel tanks, and filtration systems, to name a few. The surface finish of 3003 Aluminum grade is a bright shiny silver type finish and offers corrosion resistance and corrosion applications such as in cooking products and recreational vehicles.

Grade 5052 is a step up from 3003, delivering greater strength and additional weathering capabilities. Grade 5052 Aluminum possesses increased elements such as Magnesium and Chromium and is more corrosion resistant, especially to seawater and applications in the marine environment. Aluminum Grade 5052 delivers a medium-strength characteristic and is a more suitable option in uses that require additional structural strength. Regular use includes roadway signs, small boats, and truck fuel tanks. The surface appearance is a finish that is a more dull silver mill finish, shiny but not as bright as 3003 Aluminum, and is also suitable for many of the same applications in the various residential and commercial industries but with a little more strength. Grade 6061 is the strongest Aluminum alloy we offer, with increased levels of magnesium and silicon. Grade 6061 Aluminum has excellent fabrication properties and is formable, machinable, weldable, and used in many different applications requiring lightweight and more strength and corrosion resistance like in the marine industry. Grade 6061 is the hardest Aluminum we offer and is commonly used worldwide in various structural applications, boat construction, and miscellaneous custom furniture. Overall whenever your need is for lightweight corrosion-resistant metal, Aluminum is likely a great choice and the product you are seeking.

Stainless Steel Products – Sheet Metal, flat, smooth Plates, Stainless steel Diamond Plates, Structural Shapes, Pipe & Tubing

Stainless Steel is available in many different material grades. The two most popular are T304 Stainless Steel and T316 alloy grades. These material grades are offered with various mill finishes, including 2B-matte finish, No. 4 brushed finish, and No. 8 Mirror finish, as with all Stainless Steel grades provide exceptional corrosion resistance. The stainless steel 2B-matte finish is a very dull flat grey/blue surface appearance used primarily for parts and products fabricated where the appearance is not essential. No four brushed finish appears with a non-reflective surface grain and is used in products such as kitchen appliances and does have less corrosion resistance because of the surface grooves. No. 8 Mirror finish has a reflective surface finish appearance of a bright shiny mirror used in construction for wall covers and final aesthetic architectural finishes.

Stainless steel is a metal alloy comprised of many elements, including Chromium, Nickel, Carbon, and Manganese, giving Stainless steel superior corrosion-resistant characteristics. The most common grades are 304 and 316. Stainless steel type 304 is commonly used in various product and construction applications, including outdoor brackets, railings, or bollards. The main difference between 304 Stainless Steel and 316 Stainless Steel is that grade 316 contains additional element Molybdenum, increasing corrosion resistance.

Stainless steel grade 316 is also a marine-grade metal due to its enhanced physical corrosion resistance properties and is used mainly for food and medical products.
